  Job Description:

  The CNC Laser Operator will be responsible for fabricating sheet metal components used to assembly power backup devices. This role requires one to be able to set-up a production job from a work order with engineering instructions. The Operator will use the machine controls to upload the appropriate program, change the appropriate tooling/fixtures, and set the speed of the laser. Once the material is loaded on the table, the Operator will qualify the first piece in coordination with Quality Control. Some secondary operations such as finishing/grinding, dimensional inspection, and packaging can be expected.

  Wages are commensurate with experience. Pay reviews offered quarterly with raises given to top performers.

  Job Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of CNC Laser experience, including set-ups
  • Ability to interpret work instructions, blueprints, and engineering instructions
  • Ability to inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
  • Mechanical comprehension
  • Strong time management and self-motivation
