After two and a half years of ridiculous turnover, we contracted with Champion to handle our warehouse and office recruiting and staffing, against the corporate directive of not using employment firms. Champion had staffed for our Director of HR at her previous company. We implemented Champion’s onboarding recommendations, their character and skill based selection process and within a year our management team was back into performance based bonuses. Without Champion we would not be there.

I am not a fan of ‘employment agencies” trying to fill slots with bodies. Champion has filled our last 16 openings with no turnover. That’s my kind of partner!

Our staff needs change as we acquire more customers. We can absolutely count on you guys to provide quality people for all facets of our organization, any day, any time. Toni, our Account Manager is always available and accurate. We also know your owner; he is a hands-on guy and has given us great support.

I’ve tried employment agencies on and off in my long career. Most have no idea what machining, CNC and precision-assembly work really is all about. Kyle and his team KNOW manufacturing as they have been there before. We no longer mess with other services. Kyle and Champion do it right.

We run multiple odd-hour shifts, as you are aware. Sometimes it seems that we live in chaos. Toni, I can always count on you and your (Champion) team to come through for us and make my week just a little easier. If you could send me to the Bahamas once a quarter that would help too.

You asked if I could write you a comment about your services: At the beginning of our connection, I didn’t believe anyone could do what you say (make hiring good people easier). Over my years at other companies I had to deal with really bad employment agencies. You have changed my mind. You do what you say you do.

Jeff and Angela: you guys care, do a great job, and make me comfortable with your selections. In 2018 we have hired more people through Champion (and kept them) than through our other four services combined. You are our primary and, hopefully, I’ll never have to use our backup service again. I am still working on reading your boss’s book (after all he autographed it for me at lunch!). After 6 chapters I have already learned a bunch.

Few outsiders know manufacturing operations like you do. It’s nice to have your guys walk in and tell me what our CNC equipment does and not ask questions like “whaz that do?”. Thanks. Keep up the good work.
